They are alternatives to AdSense but poor. Nothing can ever replace Google AdSense. Till date, I have read a positive testimonial on any of these alternatives to AdSense.
These are great alternatives but are still passive income strategies.
Is there any that you can recommend that would not be considered passive?

What do you exactly mean by "Not Passive" Any internet income is considered to be Passive as you dont actively work when you get paid, its for what you have worked you get paid later.
Active methods would be something like running a website to provide support or configuration etc. like WordPress blog setup service.

Affiliate marketing is a great Adsense alternative – I have always made more money with that than I ever did with any pay-per-click advertising.
i prefer adbrite and chitika but you can consider bidvertiser i dont like it
