Simple blog designs are simply great!

Over the long run, I have observed one factor that encourages me to continue writing for specific blogs and the is it’s design. Since I write on several blogs that I own and manage, it’s easy to feel the pinch when you are reluctant to write on blogs that have complex and sophisticated designs.

A well written blog post looks awesome when seen on a reader friendly, clean and neat blog rather than on a content stuffed and complex designed blog.

Recently I did a redesign of one of my blogs - HippieMonk.com and this time made sure that the design is just very basic and simple and am really enjoying writing on the blog.
 

If you observe all the top blogs make it a point that readability, website loading speed and content are of top priority rather than a fancy website. I have seen better traffic results post shifting my blogs to a simpler and faster loading theme. Let me know what you think
