If you have been around as a webmaster for more than 6months to an year actively working towards improving your blog or website content and traffic, you might understand what I am talking here about. The Google EMD update or Exact Match Domain upadte was targeted at domains that have the keywords in the domain name itself and broadly classifying them all under the same category (with a fine number of exception only) and pushing them down the ladder is the SERPs and that seem a little unfair when you really HAVE to be a EMD with respect to your business.

For example, my website here under consideration is a Used Mobiles marketplace and the domain was registered several years ago. I was lucky enough to get the most appropriate domain for a website that does the same – UsedMobiles.in. Now, this had to be an exact domain because thats what I really do with the website.
