With a very heavy heart we share the sad news that the world has lost a genius, visionary and a great human being – Steve Jobs. A person who has contributed countless inventions to the modern world which makes our life better!

Steve Jobs passed away today at the age of 56, one day after the launch of the Apple iPhone 4S. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had a liver transplant 5 years ago. I would like to salute this great person on behalf all of you & will be remembered for ever!

Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.  If you would like to share your thoughts, memories and condolences, please email rememberingsteve@apple.com
